Shoulder (Across Back):
Stand in a relaxed, natural posture with your arms at your sides.
Place the measuring tape at the tip of one shoulder, where the horizontal slope of the shoulder meets the vertical slope of the arm.
Stretch the tape horizontally across your back to the same point on the opposite shoulder, following the natural curve of the back.
Chest (Full Circumference):
Raise your arms slightly and wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, typically right under the armpits and across the shoulder blades.
Lower your arms to your sides and take the measurement while standing naturally—do not puff out your chest or hold your breath.
Keep the tape snug but not tight, ensuring it is level and horizontal all the way around your body.
Length (Jacket/Body):
Start from the highest point of your shoulder, where the shoulder seam meets the base of the neck.
Measure straight down the front of your torso to your desired end point.
Standard blazer length usually ends near the top of the thigh, while overcoats may go to the knee.
